Booking Terms and Conditions
This agreement is made between Mr Hughes-Roberts (trading as Minffordd Holiday Properties) and the guest (named as booking the holiday) on the booking form. All our properties shall be used solely for holiday purposes and the guest agrees to vacate the property on the last day of the confirmed booking. A binding contract is entered into on the issuing of a confirmation of booking. No contract has been entered into until receipt of a signed booking form and payment of a third deposit of holiday cost or the full amount of holiday cost (if less than 2 calendar months before the start of the holiday).
A non-refundable deposit of a third of the total holiday cost (min £75) is required, within 7 days of booking, if more than 2 calendar months before the start of holiday. Full payment is required if less than 2 calendar months to the start of holiday.
Balance of Payment
The balance is payable 2 calendar months prior to your arrival date. No reminders will be sent.
Payment should be by bank transfer (preferable) and details are given on booking or by cheque.
Please make cheques payable to Minffordd Holiday Properties.
Please advise us as soon as possible if you have to cancel. Cancellations should be made by telephone and followed up by a letter. The contract requires the guest to pay for the accommodation in the event of a cancellation unless:
a) More than 2 calendar months notice is given prior to the start date of the holiday, then only the loss of the deposit will occur. If we are able to rebook the week cancelled, all monies paid by the guest will be refunded minus £50 administration fee.
b) Less than 2 calendar months notice is given prior to the start date of the holiday then we reserve the right to charge the full amount. If we are able to rebook the week cancelled, all monies paid by the guest will be refunded less the deposit.
In order to avoid charges due to cancellation, we advise you to take out insurance and details are available on request.
A property damage deposit of £100 is payable on arrival, for all properties. This is refunded on departure, following inspection of property. All guests are expected to take reasonable care of the properties and leave them in the same condition as found on arrival. Guests are responsible for any breakages, damage or extra cleaning, as well as the costs associated with these, which are caused by any of the guests staying in the property, and must be reported on departure. Mr. Hughes-Roberts reserves the right to ask for monies to cover the cost of repair or replacement. All our properties are cleaned and checked between each letting.
Every care is taken to ensure our properties are presented to guests at a high standard. Please notify us as soon as possible after arrival if there are any problems. If problems arise during your holiday, please notify Mr. Hughes-Roberts immediately so these can be resolved effectively and efficiently. No complaints will be accepted once the holiday has finished.
Only those named on the booking form may stay in the property unless prior arrangements have been made when booking.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in our holiday cottages by prior arrangement only, at a cost of £20 per dog per week. We ask you to bring bedding for your dog with you. No dog must be left alone in a cottage at any time. Dogs should be kept on a lead whilst at Minffordd and exercised in the dog walking field or off site. All dog mess must be cleared up immediately.
Arrival and Departure
Properties will be available from 4pm – 5pm on your arrival date. If you intend to arrive later than this then please let us know in advance. If you get held up on your journey, please do give us a ring. We ask you to vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure, to allow us to prepare them for the next guests. For short breaks times may be varied to suit.
Mr. Hughes-Roberts or his representatives retain the right to enter the properties at any time.
